Crown Princess

Princess Cruises has completed its multi-million pound refurbishment of the Crown Princess. The vessel, which has capacity for 3,080 guests, now includes new dining venues, a luxury bed in every room and an upgraded spa and fitness centre. In addition, ‘Club class’ mini-suites, a new premium stateroom category, have been introduced. Club class includes a reserved dining area with expanded menu options in one of the main onboard restaurants, upgraded room amenities and priority embarkation and disembarkation. Guests can also enjoy, Effy, a new fine jewellery shop, while Princess Cruises has unveiled a range of children’s centre activities in association with the Discovery Channel. The refit was completed in Freeport, Bahamas at the Grand Bahama shipyard. The enhancements continue Princess Cruises’ ‘Come Back New Promise’ campaign, with £330m being invested across the line’s fleet of 17 ships. Crown Princess is currently sailing the Mediterranean, which will be followed later this year by a season in the Caribbean. She will be based in Southampton in spring and summer 2019 for a series of round Britain cruises.

Sapphire Princess

Sapphire Princess underwent a refurbishment last year. Now boasting Princess Cruises’ signature logo on her bow, the ship was fitted with a new boutique from Effy fine jewellers and other retail enhancements, as well as a large LED screen in the theatre, updated gym equipment, and upgraded spa and treatment rooms. New luxury beds, designed exclusively by board-certified sleep expert Michael Breus for Princess Cruises, were added to some of the staterooms and will be included in all guest accommodation by June 2018.

Sky Princess

Sister ship to Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess, Sky Princess is scheduled to debut in October 2019 on a series of Mediterranean voyages. The inaugural Mediterranean deployment of Sky Princess features 10 cruise departures on eight itineraries, starting with a seven-day Mediterranean & Adriatic cruise from Athens to Barcelona on October 20, 2019. Her amenities include a pair of public areas cantilevered over the side of the ship on the top deck—a walkway on the starboard side and a bar on the port side.[5] She also has fewer pools than previous Princess Cruises ships and features expanded public areas, including the movie theater, the Sanctuary Bar and the central Piazza atrium. The ship also has more dining options than previous Princess vessels. The ships of this class are one of the first passenger vessels built compliant to the new safe return to port requirements.[
