Winter 2020 Voyages

Luxury cruise brand, Cunard, has today unveiled its November 2019 to June 2020 programme, which includes Christmas celebrations in Australia, sailing through the heart of the Amazon River, a new World Voyage, and more ‘overnights’ in port. Travelling almost 150,000 nautical miles, the most famous ocean liners in the world will call at 123 destinations in 48 different countries, including 10 maiden calls for our current fleet.

Christmas in Australia: Cunard guests will be able to celebrate Christmas in Australia for the first time ever, on board Queen Elizabeth. Followed by serene cruising in the Fiordland National Park on Boxing Day, they’ll also be well positioned to be amongst the first in the world to see in the New Year, from Auckland, New Zealand.

Discover South America: On an exotic winter escape Queen Victoria revisits South America, offering immersive destinations and visiting the major cities. After a maiden call in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she’ll sail up the scenic Amazon to Manaus, round Cape Horn, and transit the Panama Canal on this incredible journey of discovery.

The World Voyage: Sailing for 99 nights Cunard’s iconic flagship Queen Mary 2 will embark on a classic East-West exploration to Australia and Asia, via the Mediterranean, Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean, and Southern Africa. It’s the ideal travel experience on board one of the world’s most luxurious ships.

Cunard puts transatlantic crossings at heart of 2020 offering

There are 14 overnight stays and 19 late evening departures, with an average time in port of ten and a half hours which will allow international guests an opportunity to explore the most spectacular destinations at their leisure.

New Itineraries for 2021

In 2021, Queen Victoria embarks on a complete western circumnavigation of the globe, via the Panama Canal, to Australia and around Africa's Cape of Good Hope. Visiting 33 ports, there are overnights in San Francisco, Honolulu, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Cape Town.

In 2021, Queen Mary 2 sets sail on an East-West journey of global exploration to Australia, via South Africa, then back to the UK via the Suez Canal. Calling at 31 ports, she’ll spend overnights in Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Cape Town.

From December 2020 until March 2021 Queen Elizabeth offers a series of round-trip voyages from Melbourne and Sydney, to Tasmania and New Zealand. Turning north to Japan, she’ll visit a variety of exotic destinations such as Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, and the Philippines, calling at 46 ports.
